
The Nigerian Forest Security Service was established in 2018 with the sole aim of detecting and preventing crime across the nation's forest spaces, where bandits, kidnappers and terrorists are using as hideouts to unleash terror on innocent lives.
The Nigerian Forest Security Service have over the years since its conception deploued its personnel to various forests across the country to help tackle these malady and allow our vigorous farmers to farm in peace under a secured environment and also permit rural settlers to return to their communities and villages.
Our main objective is to assist the Nigerian Police and other security agencies as forest rangers, bearing our familiarity and knowledge of the forest terrain, by providing intelligence about crime and criminal footprints within the nation's forest.
Well over 4000 forest rangers, 900 counter-terrorism squad and 1,000 intelligence officers have been train, and more being recruited across all states to ensure all angles are covered to effectively curb crime within the nations forest spaces.
